Ah, that's a blow. I may just come up and go back in the same day. Unless someone wants to share a YHA room in Wells (its £89 for sat night for a 3 bed room).
Other than that booking.com is showing no real accommodation that is around the area or is sensibly priced.

I'd say a ride is a 'given', I'd quite like to include a lunchtime stop for pie 'n mash in Cromer, I lived in North Norfolk for 16 years & never went there
