Had a nice ride out to raven , a good breakfast and chat , then we had short ride to Trentham Gardens , Got home about 2 ish , By 3 o'clock it was pissing down , hope you all got home before the heavens opened ,

Just got caught between Newport and Telford it poured down with rain but after a little slip on the island by Asda got home ok,good ride Alan nice seeing you all again I might try to come next week if I get a new tyre in time,Lynn I hope your back gets better soon,Bern thanks for the coffee's I owe you,Richard thanks for the company enjoyed chatting to you all,Phil.

I wondered how those cars got between us, did you touch the repair seam ? what's your house number bud ? Tom the tree is here ATM I could nip him over to look at hazel if it's ok for you

Chocy,,,uummmmm! gave chocy to Alan...bet it all went before he got home.. :lol:
As forecast, it started to pelt down at 1253hrs and lasted until 1730hrs suns out

Yeah I got caught by the rain too. But worse was the wind that picked up while I was on the motorway. Caught me by surprise.

By the way Alan not sure if you know but Bulli eth Thorn is closing read on face book other day .

I was planning on going there this Friday / Saturday for the Derbyshire ride out on 12th July. Found another potential in Barn Camping at Birchover. A litle bit more expensive at £8.50 per night but looks ok and there are two pubs 10 miniute walk from the site.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery but today is a gift!

Not according to most recent Faceache post on June 29th .........
Sad news I'm afraid. Heard from the Brewery that the pub is to close down later this year, after over 500 years as an Inn. Just not enough business to keep us going I'm afraid.
I shall be leaving here on 1st November 2015
