11755 Euros, seems to be the consensus for Europe.

So given how shafted we are by the common market and the friggin Euro-bandits, about £11,755...
'bout time we invaded France. Least we'd get some TMax's with ABS...

The fairing panniers look to be disappointingly small.
Yes 1ltre & 1.5ltrs or something pretty useless. However, the video on Horobags post shows some Huuuuuuge rear Panniers (accesssories I presume). Makes it as wide as a bus, but never mind.

18" front wheel, 200 section rear tyre - I'm not a suspension expert, but that doesn't sound like a recipe for agility, does it?

I know that Honda say that they are making it cos they are prepared to make a bike for anyone, but was there anyone who actually wanted a Cruiser/scooter hybrid??? I'm sure the market for something like a Tmax only more so would be rather larger....

I was looking at the new Honda ctx 1300 today its gorgeous, has similar aspects of this bike, the problem is so many died in the wool bikers are quite narrow minded and have to pigeonhole everything or its shite, sometimes folk just design a bike coz they want to do something different, people with an open mind and sense of adventure who don't follow sheep is who the bikes aimed at, albeit a very small minority but who cares, bike technology is years behind car technology, bikers like bikes with gears etc, scooterists like scooters very few like both, but both pigeonhole and are scared to think out of the box, I have never had a car or bike I have not modified in some way, I don't want what everybody else has I want a statement piece, wether that be I look like a complete dick or a cool mofo I couldn't care less either way, when I ride my cerise monkeybike up westgate rd on a weekend with its snakeskin seat and chrome bling, I stand out more than any other biker there, it has crowds round it and pics taken aplenty, some think its shit coz its not masculine enough for folks egos, others think its fab, either way all that matters is that it was my designs and ideas that made it different, wether this new bike has a chain or not, its not a massive deal breaker, Christ its no more maintenance than what most of you do stripping variators and swapping filters etc its no big deal, obviously its not a big tourer, its not a nippy little commuter, its not a Harley, its a bike/scoot in its own right, its why every year these debates come out, the bikes are shot down before given the chance, its why we get shitty choices in the UK, bland colours, crap aftermarket stuff and no big custom or race scene like they do in Europe and asia, our generation will be gone before you know it and a newer one takes its place, these x box playing kids watching manga cartoons, everythings hi tec, instead of staying in our safe boxes and narrow minds, give stuff a chance to take hold, its us as buyers what holds back progress in these things, I am still waiting for a speeder bike that shoots lazers but I am happy to wait and watch new ideas come to the fore! rant over!

Tell me a time when MCN have ever been right when it comes to scooters?

Bunch of ignorant, lazy hacks who predictably pour scorn on maxi scooters at every opportunity and jack off furiously to the latest pocket rocket...

Chain drive may not be a big deal for you Dezzie, but it is for me.
And I'm not alone.
Lop the front two cylinders off the CTX13, give it right way up forks with gaiters and I might be persuaded to buy a bike again.

 , ive started a new topic on the same ,,,, machine. (Didnt see this topic)
I like it, from the dn01 then integra, now this, they are all seeming to improve, I think we all need to realise that all scoots arnt made for 100% functionality, the dn01 is a fantastic machine , but if you want touring luggage capacity buy a f**kin pan European, not a dn01.
Honda are just trying to be a bit different, nowt wrong with that in my book.
Im not a gynecologist, but I dont mind taking a look.
