If the weather is good, I could come straight up on the Thursday morning, the Kentish Express could meet up with you before the Lakes, by hammering up the M1, M6. I will make firm plans nearer the day, could meet north of Birmingham or Lymm. that should be an enjoyable day. My Labrador gets me up about 04.30 at the moment, so an early start is practicable for me. (let the dog out and piss off biking for 4 days, sounds good)

That's a bugger Julian, unfortunately as its on a Thursday I work between the hours of 1030-1430hrs so won't be able to be there........

Off thursday morning meeting Lyn Dave Weller Teflon Bob and ZZG at Lymm services 10am for ride up to Dumfries via Lake district .Meeting up with Liam in Dumfries who is doing ride from York with German tmax group with Ian .Will be in pub Liam other side of traffic Island you will see it from Tlodge its a foody pub next to Premier inn if not at Tlodge .Little chef has shut down .I hoping my new belt will be here so can fit or at least take with me checked it friday not a genuine belt and has some cracks but only has to hold on for 1000 miles along with my bongo tyre with 2mm on it in centre

Have you decided where your German Tmax group are parking up in York for their wander round the city centre. Certain motorcycle parking bays fill up quite early in the morning and others are hardly used at all. If there's more of this hot weather to come, your group won't be comfortable walking about in bike gear carrying their helmets.
