Fair enough bud, but my point there shows that suggesting two places in two different 'forums' can easily cause confusion to members that only have access to one of those 'forums' so my question now is ... which forum would you like to organise this ride out on?

Cosford is not so much a ride-out as a meetup for a drink and a chat. It started as Wolverhampton Airport but you preferred Cosford, which is a sound suggestion. As for Wales, I would like to do a trip there but I wouldn't know where to begin to arrange such a thing. I don't see a problem with mentioning on several groups that we will be at Cosford.

Trouble is most of us aren't moderators or admin to post across and hence the birth of the plastic scooter club on fb.

You should be able to set up events on the Facebook page. I only do it on there just in case anyone that is a member of the Facebook but not the forum is aware.

Not sure why you need mod/admin access.

Re place to stay... I only mentioned it to help. As mentioned I have limited annual leave and family commitments. Ive been on the Peak District X9 run and done a break in France on the bikes.

I had a look at setting up events just says will be approved by admin which is fair enough .

Me or Peter will approve it no problems.

There's no way to please everyone
Start a new post with the heading.
MM meet at ? Place on ? date.
And hope there's enough people interested to make it an enjoyable day .
If there is little response it could be cancelled due to lack of interest.
Don't mean to sound harsh just trying to help .
