How about staying at the Travelodge near the Ace Cafe, Solo has done it before. Very easy to find and has parking. Getting into London by using the A40 after an English breakfast at the Ace.

Was thinking ending at Ace cafe .Yes me and Mike stayed there it's massive so book early should get reasonable price .Could start there instead .Thames barrier viewing area has cafe as well make that a stop .

As long as book 21 days in advance can get 2 nights for £17 with Ccclub just outside M25 access to site is off A10 then cross back over M25 to Theobalds park .They have a 30% off grass pitch deal so as long as they run it next year shall do that .Can use north circular to get to Ace cafe and back from Woolwich .Just have to get towbar and my rack sorted for mhome or could have done this year .
