I do believe it was Northallerton where I first tried Teesside's contribution to the culinary world...the Parmo! Since then I've seen it on the odd takeaway menu that come through the letterbox here in York so it's slowly taking over the world.

Yes...I having a Parmo for tea tonight! They are surprisingly nice, though I may not buy one from a dodgy takeaway in Middlesbrough!

Will probably not be oop tha agin before Xmas - we've just moved the in-laws out of fookin' Jockland into a little Bungalow in Ainderby Steeple, close to 'er indoors Sister. She's actually up there this week moving them in, while I shirk family responsibilities and do all the cooking, cleaning and housework on holiday darn sarf.

No doubt get accused of spending all my time in front of the computer, pissing about talking to you lot when I'e actually done about 57 different things on my 'to do' list round the house.

Oh and to get back on topic, I've always proposed the leg waving as you don't want to know the number of numpties I've seen waving down through the years, then had to pick them up from the kitty litter or the bend they just failed to negotiate. OK I've spent a lot of time around learners, but there you go, safety first.

I'd therefore like to formally propose that we Maxis adopt the mucky foreigners habits and dangle a different limb to each other than our part-time motorcycling cousins, as it shows them we ain't bikers, and it may well deliver a lesson that serves them well. Oh and we actually have lots of spare leg time because their ancient contrivances are using Dickensian tech...
