There's a dealer does seven year warranties on Lexmotos.
it make me laugh when the seven years on one lexmoto dealer stated "7 Year transferable parts and labour warranty.

The initial manufacturer’s warranty applies for the 12 or 24 month period (depending on the manufacturer). During this period, the manufacturer’s service intervals and warranty conditions apply. After this period expires, services must be done every 2500 miles or 6 months, whichever occurs first. To qualify for the 7 year warranty the vehicle must be serviced by PB Motorcycles and Quads Ltd for the duration of the warranty period from year one through to and including year 7.
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

You need to get a Honda 125 serviced every 2500 miles as well, so not too different.
I still think the seven year warranty offer shows that the dealer has confidence in the product.

true lad, something that has been regularly looked after should and will last, thats how Kia have grown there reputation over the years, its a good old saying
"i`ll look after you, if you look after me" without showing monetary gain or value :D

Quick question.

I have found an old fes 125-5 2007 model 16000k miles.

Is this still a s-wing? Much different to the newer ones apart from abs?

Looks slightly different from the front.

Are these still okay ones to get?

Cheers

That's a Pantheon, very different bodywork, similar otherwise.
Was a top end of the market job in its day, just like the S-wing is now.
It would have to be priced around £1000 and have a full service history to be worth even looking at imo.
But yes, if its in good nick and been properly maintained its a good scooter.

Private sale or dealer?
Could be a winner, but until you see it in the flesh you won't know exactly what condition its in or whether £1200 is good vfm or not.
New tyres sounds good if they're decent ones and not some ropey cheapos.
Make sure its had a new drivebelt, if not money off required.
Worth going for a look, a new S-wing isn't three times better and the less you spend the less depreciation there can be ;)
Look after it well and you could get your money back when you sell it.

I think it can be very confusing, as Honda seem to have used the FES model designation for both the S-wing and Pantheon models. MAybe that indicates that they are very similar mechanically - I dunno!

My brother bought a S-Wing less than a year ago to ride from home to Gatwick (he's a pilot). He hadn't passed his test so I ended up borrowing it and riding it to work for six months.

Anyway point of post is his enthusiasm lasted about a week, he went back to the car, and it is now laid up, and MOT expired. So, I need to check but believe its for sale.

He would probably advertise it for sale about £1800 I reckon and let it go for £1600 for an easy life. 2010 model (I think) in red, heated grips and a very good alarm (fob activated) plus colour coded top box. Miles were low, from memory guess under 9000.

I had it serviced when I had it and I got a puncture, so I put a new tyre on, it would have done few miles since.

Not really my cup of tea but have to say cracking bike. Starts on the button, surprising power for a 125 I thought (my 250 Helix has little more), very good condition (although shocks look a bit rusty).

Anyway if anyone interested let me know and I'll give him a shout, get some photos and confirm the bits I am not too sure about (particularly price, its just my guess). If he wants to sell I'll put an MOT on it for the buyer (he's unlikely to do it himself).

PS if this is a repeat posting apologies I thought I posted a reply earlier.

Sounds good Kav

The FES 125-1 to 125-6 were Pantheons
The S-wing is a FES 125-7
earlier Pantheons were 2 stroke, later ones got 4 stroke and injection
The S- Wing replaced it using the same engine but looks very different and got refinements like interlinked brakes (don't think the Pantheon had those) general luxury and the comfiest seat I've ever come across on a 2-wheeler
IMHO the Pantheon is good, the S-Wing is superb
WE ARE THE BURG resistance is futile
The Ugly Bunch-1
