Ive always admired guzzi's , yet never bought one, why? I dont know really! The kwak w 800, very nice, had a look at one a few weeks ago, the only negative for me was I was sitting over the tank when mrs horobags was pillion. Had a w650 10 years ago, lovely motor, I agree, a bonnie beater.

The most memorable bike I've owned were 'guzzis, very nice engines that feel alive. I love the look of the Yamaha SR 400 as power and speed are not something I look for in a bike. If money was no object I would love a Norvil Norton Commando:

I owned a R1150R as I lusted after a BMW flat twin for years. It was bought second had from a guy in Lincoln who totally molly coddled it. It was mint. I had it 4 years and it was lovely however it never got under my skin like the 'Guzzi's I've had, don't get me wrong it was a lovely thing and never missed a beat. I sold it to a bloke in South Wales so I guess it's bimbling around rural Wales now. The 'Guzzi engines are definitely smoother when revved than the Beemer. And as an added bonus, under certain circumstances it actually sounded like a steam engine! Occasionally the 'Guzzis would backfire which was useful for scaring kids.

How could you say such a thing
I'd like a Honda PC800 but rare and old here
Until somebody comes up with an affordable Monotracer type I'd probably go completely the other way, retro and impractical:
A brand new Royal Enfield Classic 500 in maroon please

I'd like an early RD250. Rode one about 40 years ago and it frightened the lfe out of me. Mind you, I might find it a dissapointing crock of shit nowdays.

I'd like a Triumph street triple and a single cylinder supermoto like the Husqvarna sms630.
Other than that I'd also like a Dorsoduro 1200, a BMW GS1200 and a ZZR1400. Though is like to try them first.
I'd like a two-stroke runner 180cc too. :p

they rebored n fettled with it to 900cc in my husky nuda 900, it was an excellent engine then, sounded fantastic n pulled like a train!

That
did sound fun....but not terribly practical!

Yes...it is a scary thought. It struck me when I was looking round the showrooms how few of the bikes there I really wanted to ride.

After 10 years of ownership, I still really like the look of my CCM R30...
The build quality aint great but one of the nicest looking bikes I think.
