Re: May Day Run 2014 - May 05/05/14
So that appears to be 7 of us now, i am coming from dover where would be the best place for me to meet up with you all and what time etc. Seeing as we are meeting at different points would it better to all meet up at a point further down the a21 so we can all gather at one point ? Just a suggestion. Just to make it easier for everyone.

It is a weird world indeed. I'm not sure though that it was me waiting for it, as it was already in the showroom when I walked in and bought it. What is weird though, was that I initially test rode the Z1000SX from East London Kawasaki. When I brought the bike back from the test ride, there was a bike trader kicking the tyres of recently traded in Peugeot Satelis.... presumably ex- Stephen C, who had just collected his J300 ABS!michaelphillips wrote:DougL so your the bloke who was waiting for the 1000cc coming from kawasaki same shipment as my j300 from Bowen motoDougL wrote:I'm more than likely up for this. I'm happy to plan a route though I won't be on a scooter... just bought this a week ago! Going down the A21 last year was sheer hellthe A28 and a detour sounds good to me... much nicer twisty road!
ian mentioned it.. isnt it a weird world.. it it was you

Does any one know of a good route in that will avoid most of the congestion?

What we have done in the past is straight down the A21 from Locksbottom and turn left when you hit the front and find parking

But there in lies the issue, it gets very congested hence thinking it might be better for another route in... maybe going in from the Eastbourne direction?

I have made this map which heads down the A26 and with the 2 meeting points en route what do you all think.

Thanks for that Jasg, certainly joining the ride in the area outlined works for me. Think it maybe the long way round for Spaceprobe though
