Re: Help me buy things
Well I'll need to spend a few more trips to make sure but it seems to be a lot better today. Today was the first higher speed opportunity since I had the front disk swapped on the weekend.
I'm hoping it may have just been that. But I still think that something at the back will need attention at some point
I just want to enjoy the bike. Apart from the problems I've really got in to the burg thing.

Just as an update the vibrations didn't go away. Seem to have got better though strangely.
Bike now with a Suzuki dealer to try and sort out.

Well the bike seems to be sorted. Belt was ripped in several placed between the teeth. Two bearings shagged and new rollers required. The difference is amazing. I now know how the bike should feel to ride.

Really?! What was wrong with the belt, was it worn, faulty or the wrong size? It should be a new belt, so either it was faulty or my dealer cocked up/screwed me over...masterchop wrote:Well the bike seems to be sorted. Belt was ripped in several placed between the teeth. Pikey, can't give away the price but let's just say it didn't make me smile.
Drago I think it was the right size but it was cracking badly inbetween the teeth. Ripping in places. It said made it Taiwan on the belt and that's all I can tell you. Guys at the shop said it was definately not Suzuki

You would have paid lot more for a main dealer fully prepped scooter with warranty so still good buy overall Id say
