Sorry to hear you couldn't get on with your C600, I test rode one and liked it but was somewhat frustrated by a fault with the steering lock which the salesman knew about when I got back to the dealership and told me the mechanic was going to take a file to it later! Not good for a bike costing over £10K, put me right off. My Mk3 Tmax felt so smooth and dependable when I left the showroom, convinced me the Mk4 was the way to go even though I had not ridden one. What is it with BMW? a mate of mine bought an RT1200 but had to pay extra for a 'comfort' seat - this is a touring bike isn't it?
