Its too biased to south east IMHO is there actually a northern Moderator ? barring Funky and Mottza others do fuck all ride out and meet wise needs a shake up and fresh blood
I randomly created the TMaxi Muppets one... though I seem to be the major poster in it which makes it kind of redundant... to be honest a lot of the 'site' is half baked and I tried a while back to add a front end for people to post new and techinical stuff in to help the forum stay mostly chat but that fell on its face. MM has no direction, if someone were willing to create one they would have my full support and assistance.
Past Bikes: Piaggio B125, Gilera Nexus 500, TMax MK3 in White, TMax MK3 in Yellow, TMax MK3 in Yellow, Honda NC750x in Blue...
I myself look at all the sections regardless of which scooter it is, the site is separated into maxi-chat, showroom, garage/technical help then broken down into individual posts/subjects. Above all this lets show some appreciation to funky for keeping the forum going in his spare time, like last week when it went down.
I'm against the split maxi sections as well. If you look at the Burgman/Tmax sections most topics and replies are days, even over a week in several cases, apart. Is they really any point to those sections? If your thinking of doing something to your maxi why not mention under Maxi chat ie blinging my t-max where everyone can see and voice their opinion or advice on the subject/problem/idea etc.
I always thought of this as a site for all Maxi's, not just certain brands of Maxi!
As I said before, I believe that there should be no split sections. Most stuff should be in Maxi scooter chat period. Go and have a look at Modern Vespa forums. All sorts of scooters are discussed there, not just maxis. This is a great forum too, because of all the people here, the layout needs some tweeking though. Spliting the forum into different areas just means we miss some stuff that might be of interest. Modern Vespa has a separate MP3 area and I know the forum admin always had doubts about making it separate. A lot of talk on MV now revolves around the Beverly 350 which is proving to be very popular in the US and almost unobtainium.
