I am thinking of joining Julian at Doncaster in the morning and riding from Hull to York with the group, then home, should be a good day.

07/08/2013 Meet Manu and Gwen at 10am Travelodge Chieveley RG18 9XX at junction 13 M4 / A34 and travel to Hull via Humber Suspension Bridge. Stop en route for lunch

08/08/2013. 8.00 hours. Meet Eddie, Sabine, Frank, Annette, Fossi, Steffi, Clive, Mel? Liam, Julian, and others at P&O Ferry Terminal King George Dock, Hedon Road, Kingston-upon-Hull, North Humberside HU9 5PR. There is a public Car Park on your right between the roundabout and the entrance to the Ferry Terminal.
Ride into York (8 miles) park YO1 6HZ in designated motorcycle bays. (not cycle bays) or Monk Bar car park, St John's Street, York, YO31 7QR. Visit Medieval York and eat lunch. Stay 3 hours. Leave at 13:15 hours.
Travel to Thirsk and meet Kasi in the Market Place YO7 1LL at 14:00 hours

Leisurely ride to Whitby for Fish & Chips & Mushy Peas, then on to Scarborough arrive approximately 14:30 hours. Kasi if you want to arrive in Scarborough earlier then you can leave us at Whitby (40 minutes from Scarborough).
Arrive Hull at 16:00 hours to board Ferry.
Manu and Gwen, Paula, Janice & Ian to ride to hotel on route home or ride directly home / Portsmouth. This to be decided.
You will need waterproof clothing as the west coast of Scotland can be wet in August. Hopefully the sun will shine on us.
The cost of hotels in the remote parts of Scotland tend to be more expensive. I have set the standard on en suite accommodation at a reasonable price with the emphasis on the quality and enjoyment the hotels provide. Please feel free to give me your comments on the hotels chosen.

May be doing day trip to Northern Ireland on way back £30 return for scoot and rider ferry from Cairnryan can ride Antrim coast road see Giants causeway "this is only for shortened pikeytour version" be long day but get 2x 2.5 hour breaks on ferry so its do able in a day

Thanks not paying £8 as not got enough time to really enjoy it idea was more to ride Antrim coast road really so get as close as we can and have a break at Portrush


It wont rain while we are there never does on Pikeytours :lol: :lol: We are not booking till day or so before as doing on way back get forcast first for crossing and NI weather

I tried it few years ago but had a wheel bearing go and was getting progressively worse so turned back at Carrickfergus and caught an earlier ferry its only port you can do day trip to Northern Ireland from
