Big wheels, better looks in my opinion to the SH300. Spares support is ok. Decent space under seat.

Very nice engine.
Thankyou yes and nice it is too but I think just outside my budget.

Yeah...the Bev 350 has 33bhp compared to 27 for the SH. And better storage and comfort and same price... game over, on the spec anyway.
I found a shootout between the Bev 350 and the SH300 and the Bev came out on top not in my price league though I dont think.

I think I have decided on a big wheel scoot and the SH300 has won several best scooter reviews and there has to be a reason for that. Its an ugly machine though even the xmax looks better and thats not much of a looker either. There are others the Sym Citycomm apparently runs the SH a very close second. Very few Yam Xcity`s to find any info on them and the same with the Peugeot Geopolis ?
I don't think the Geopolis is sold in the UK, I tried to buy one a few years back and they'd stopped importing them then.
The Geopolis did not sell well so 3X dropped it ages ago. Still, some crop up for sale now and again. And for a big wheeled style scooter it looks stunning, especially in orange. Although slower than the Sh it has more stowage and also the ABUS chain system. The greasy bits are Piaggio so parts are cheap and easily available. Body panels and specific parts are easy to get from France or Italy.

Bev 350 would get my money, despite being a Piaggio!

I'm pretty sure they all had them fitted as standard from day 1.

Thanks Steve I had not realised this and for me its a very strong argument in favour of the SH.

They are both around £4300 new aren't they??? The Bev is, and the SH used to be around that price.

I've come in late on this, but I've road tested the Xmax and found it to be a gutless wonder.
I've not driven the SH, but can't believe it's not sportier than that...
