Yup. That's what I do. Mine are rectangular and the glass bit swivels in the housing so you can get the right angle.

The only scooters I never fitted wide angle mirrors to were my 3 Satelis - they had a wide-angle bit built into the stock mirror. Good old thoughtful Peugeot. Well, until the abomination of the Metropolis, of course: they weren't thinking so well then.

I have just received a telephone call from Paul of Newcastle Motorcycles. The call is good news and a precursor of even better news to come!

The arrival of my Forza is imminent!

I have deliberalty not phoned him since my last visit two weeks ago, not least because he said he'd phone me as soon as he had any news. The upshot is that I might have to wait for a couple more weeks but I will be able to contain my renewed excitement, knowing things are under way.

The next call should be to give me a registration number for the bike and so on and the Givi box and rack have to be bought and fitted.
Paul said 'October' and even if I have to wait it will still be October!

O frabjous day!

(I'll copy and paste this post on my other scooter forums, too)

Yes, indeed and welcome!

Ice and snow are the only things that keep my scooters off the road and I bet it's colder where you are than here.

Glad you're enjoying your Forza. :)

Greetings! British weather is being its usual bizarre self - the last few days here have been ridiculously warm - summer temperatures! I'd put my summer jackets away and had to get them back out!

Dobrodosli! Maribor has certainly changed since I lived there 1986 - 1989 (pre-independence), when it was mostly just Tomos mopeds. I had a Suzuki GS850, which was great for touring all that lovely countryside. Hope the roads have got smoother!

All the best,
Tim

drove 60km today ... and then my hands got cold, so I understand why it would make sense to heating the handles.
At the moment the "different" scooter sound bothers me compared to the motor engine,

and have the feeling that the handlebars are quite restless when driving ...
It also seems to me that the mirror is not enough on the outside (well, I'm a broader man), ok you get an overview in the curves, otherwise I have to press my hands a little to my body ...

but ok, that's all a matter of habit ... I'm still a little under 100km .. :)

PS: google translation - sorry

The translation's pretty good!

There are a couple of posts about mirrors; I will buy blind-spot stick-on ones in due course.
