I've put a separate thread up in the garage about this problem. One thing I did find out when I had the dash out is there are two little bulbs for the speedo and one of mine is blown. So i'll get a replacement. 8-)

Forgot to mention but when I fitted my new EBC pads teh paint coating on them was so thick it caused them to bind in the caliper. I had to actually scrape the paint of the mating surfaces!

To follow on from fitting the throttle body, Scootech sent me this reply to my email enquiry about reading the fault codes and setting the idle and CO2 etc.

We would be happy to run the computer diagnostics, setting the correct idle at the same time. The charge for that would be £30.00 inc VAT. This could be done while you wait.

So if I ever get the bike running I'll be taking it in to them. Mind you if I dont get it running it'll be going to them to sort out any way!

thats a good deal, they are a big dealer, one job which has always eluded me time wise, i always wanted to check the tappet gap, but cant get enough leverage to take of the head cover , cant twist it enough to get it out of the way, have not got the patience to drop the engine to do it, so always left it, i wonder how much they charge???? might look into this, mot the nexus yesterday, got the car mot in couple of weeks, but need two tyres..... so sorting this out first :) :)
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.
