I have a landline number for him but don't want to hassle him, if he can't make the trip thats ok, but I need to post him the V5, I did have the address but lost it after I sent the keys.
It's time to reinsure it or not too so I suppose I'd better try and get hold of him.

His family inform me he is on a campsite in Rouen with a broken drive belt. He's beem there for about a week.
I have to assume he is continuing or else he would have had the bike recovered, Rouen being only 25 km from the port.
He has my number and has not contacted me.
No doubt we will hear from him in due course.

Seems to be something in the French air, it whips up and down from Manchester to Newhaven then as soon as it senses that foreighn soil it goes wrong.
Can't say I blame it, I bet they are giving him a hard time, never had much time for French mechanics, several bad experiences there. It's Santander for me every time.

May well be yes .I'm glad I backed out and betting Poldark is as well .One of reasons was I'd planned to take it up for Lyn for a check over and knowing Lyn would want to change a load of parts which would have cost me but it would have got there .I would have taken spare coil and belt any way then at least any garage could do it with out delay waiting for parts .

Anyone know if he's arrived yet or is Ian still in Rouen or been recovered to Blighty?
