:? I'm more concerned about the pie? Being a Pastie muncher I've got used to my meat being encased in a half moon shaped pastry?

Well strictly in the interest of consumer research why don't you bring a few of your "parrsteys" with you and we can evaluate the relative merits of each delicacy!

The survival rate of Pasties would be dangerously low due to the distance and personal dietary requirements of myself on the Saturday as I head for the travelodge in Ipswich? Further pressure would be applied to any remaining stock by Pikey! Especially if he's got access to curry sauce. Any surviving pastie would be at least two days old, spent most of that time under the seat of my scooter enduring fluctuations in temperature! All of the above would put the humble pastie at a comparative disadvantage?
Well I suggest an interim stop on your way flying past London to East Anglia on Sat, that way the Pasties would be fresh and unmolested by Pikey.

Have you ever been to the Ace Cafe??

Out of interest what route are you planning to travel to Ipswich tomorrow, do you need a scheduled stop near London, are you using M25 or passing further North.

I'm just off M25 at St Albans and happy to suggest stopping places for Lunch/Tea, if you are using the M25 the High Beech Tea Hut at Epping Forest might be convenient.

I've got a planned stop at Fleet Services M3 before hitting M25 and Riding clockwise to A12? not set any time limits but I should make Fleet by about 10.30ish barring any hold ups :D

If you need another stop after Fleet, as you go clockwise on M25, there's a Starbucks only just off the Motorway at Jct 21a (M1 South), it's 45 ish miles from Fleet but also has cheap Shell petrol station on the same site. Just a left at the roundabout off the sliproad and it's at the next roundabout.

Linky

Yes got ahead of myself with excitement (sad), we're discussing Sat 17th Aug journey.

Well Mottza is an A12 expert, so may have suggestions for another fuel & tea stop further along your route!
