Be thankful it's not snowing; imagine shovelling snow in this heat. ;)

Ralph, thar's a nice trip wichever route youn took. Always tought Morecambe Bay was a nice place to live if your a biker you've got the Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and the Lake Disdrict all within fairly easy reach and if your feeling a little ambitous Scotland is only a couple of hours away. The view from Morecambe bay seafront is pretty spectacular at times, some very beautiful sunsets.

It’s been a bit warm the last couple of days, picked my new to me scoot up Friday morning and had a 100mile ride home, new Hood jeans and a mesh jacket with armour and felt very comfortable with a slightly open visor on my helmet.
Temperature reach an indicted 29* at one point, same as today popped out for a few hours, but felt comfortable.

Today's morning commute was perfect, like a Mediterranean morning before the Sun really gets going. That said, the cooling fan on the Tmax cut in when I was a few hundred metres from the office so it must have been warm out.

I reckon the ride home at 3:30 could be a touch toasty, at least my BMW bike jacket is designed to cope in hot climates with plenty of vents and mesh areas, though the kevlar jeans I wear can get a bit uncomfortable, luckily its only 12 miles to home and half of it is motorway.

I did my weekly shop to Tesco on the Forza - 20 minutes each way.
I had all the vents open in my jacket but was still a bit warm!
Very breezy on the coast road and the sea is described as 'Moderate'.
Lots of people on the Slope and in the sea, though.

We took the scoot as far as Chesterfield this afternoon, round trip of about 25 miles, I thought we were going to get soaked on the way there about 2'ish but it held off, came back about 5pm quite pleasant around 25c. Having said that it seems warmer now at 7pm.
