Thanks Jim. I'm Still looking, but also giving it a lot of thought. Storage is one of the things I've been thinking about.I don't like the idea of leaving it on the floor as I use the garage for other stuff. I had been looking for one without hydraulics thinking it would be lighter and I could strap it to the wall.If I see one fairly local for the right price I'll have a look and see what I think.
One of the ways I've raised bikes up before I by rocking them from side to side whilst on the main stand and getting my wife to put a piece of wood under each side as I rock it. It's easy to raise it three or four inches that way.
I don't do any work on the bike unless I know I can do it, anything complicated it goes to the bike shop.
