I put an old City grip on the Silverwing for its MOT Just before it went to bed for winter.
On a bimble last night it felt really good.
Hope the MK2 ones are as good or better.
If anyone gets one can you give the sides a push down or sqweeze please to see if still as soft. Thanks.

Being on lock down due to age I am going to change the front at 13000 miles it has
legal thread but is getting twitchy and tram lines so another City Grip is going on,
They are not made in France were the scooter is made but in I think Serbia, will
have to look to make sure.
City Grips 2 are the current replacement.

Re: Tyres
Bought the city grips before I knew about the 2s and have had them in the garage some time,
the new front totally cured the tramlining , 2s will be going on as a pair but due to the city
grips just recent fitting and lock down it's likely to be over 12 months.

Re: Tyres
I have the Michelin SC PUre on the Silverwing front and the tramlining is pretty bad sometimes.
When I had the SC on the rear as well it was frightening, but with a Grip on the rear its copeable with just the front.
I am wondering about putting a city grip 120/70 14 on the front, slightly wrong though.
Saying that there is an Angel 120/80 14 now so may well go with that but have about 8/10 left on the SC on the front yet.
