I am 5' 10" and find my xmax 300 a little cramped.
It does not have a true feet forward position like a Burgman 400/650
I wish it had a bit more room
Andy
You shouldn't be comparing the Xmax 300 with the Burgman 400/650, different class of bikes. The Xmax 300 should be compared to the Forza 300. The Burgman 400/650 are more comparible with the Xmax 400/Tmax 530.

No comparison, I just find the xmax 300 cramped
It would have been very easy for Yamaha to extend the footboards a few inches further forward.

I've only used the foot "forward" position on the Xmax300 a couple of times in 10,000kms and only for about 30secs. I can't see the point of putting feet forward, much more comfortable in the sitting "chair" position, all IMO of course.

I have owned several Burgman 400 & 650, Honda Silverwing, BMW C600 to name a few.
They all have lots of legroom
On longer journeys you can move around and change from Sitting Chair to Feet Forward and back again.
Makes a lot of difference on how long you can go without a break

I've made several trips covering 400kms a day (non-motorways) and never had the need to move my legs away from the natural "chair" seating position on my Xmax300. No need to keep "moving" around at all. Maybe some people have some underlying medical condition with their legs but most people don't so don't have any issues with sitting upright on these bikes.

All valid points, I was really really impressed with the pick up and ride quality of the forza just need to see if shaving a couple of inches off the seat will do what I need.....as on improve the feet forward position.
