When I had the Berger I did think of drilling a hole
through the cover so it could be done without removing
stuff but never did.

That's how I did the Innova. Sutton Motorcycles changed the oil, even though it's not part of the 600 mile service and they did an ACF50 treatment for the cost of the can and I got what was left over.

You did well Ray sounds like you have a dealer who cares about customer service, unlike most clowns!

That's how I do it! - got 3x 250ml syringes, cam with about a meter of tube, from eBay...
Dip the end of a 3" piece of the tube in boiling water to soften and push over the tip of the syringe...
I tapered the other end of the tube with a pencil sharpener to help it sit in the hole... The fill hole is 6mm thread I think...
Refill till the oil dribbles out the threads...

Mainly engine oil is used nowerdays... although I use Halfords Motorcycle and Scooter Gear Oil, 10w40...
My dealer put in Castrol gear oil at the 600 service. I was charged £109 from supplying dealer, but know that all work will be completed but I always check with a wooden (dip) stick just to make sure all oils have been changed.
