As already stated, new/secondhand, mileage/service you/dealer??
However from your list I'd go SH125 avoid Italian like the plague.
If you get the chance nip over to motoden Honda,Suzuki,Italian shite all near to each other and usually loads of demo bikes.

Thanks for all the info guys. You have really got me thinking.
It will be garaged 95% of the time both at work and home so hopefully avoid the London thieves.
I don't need lots of storage, mainly a full face helmet and laptop bag really. I assumed top boxes were harder to break it into than under seat. Is that correct.
Also, I would prefer as much weather protection as possible around the legs and a screen for wind protection.
Still want a decent accelerator and one that will soak up bumps, have ABS and can weave through traffic.
The Forza looks nice but not sure I want to spend that much unless there is a good reason.
The SH125 is a sensible option but is it old tech now ?
PCX is popular.
Love the Vespa GTS 125 look but is it reliable, practical and perform as well as the others.
Any thoughts on the Yamaha NMAX - a good alternative to the others such as the PCX or SH ?
Also, what are the service intervals on these ie Honda 125cc, Yamaha 125cc and Vespa 125cc ?

Similar journey to You - 18 miles each way - stop start
was doing it on a XMax400 - but saw the light!
Averaging 110 mpg
As you say - not preety - but the tool for the job
Check out my posts...
maybe a 125 S-Wing?
Thanks. Looked at some of your posts looking for SH125 content but not much the wiser - how far back do I need to go ?
Saying that, I did see it will be getting EURO4 compliance and LEDs - When do 2017 models normally find their way into customer's hands ?

I have Oxford heated grips on mine. Combined with a good set of gloves and a screen that keeps the wind off your hands makes for a toasty ride in the coldest of weathers.

Plastic/polythene top boxes are easy to break open by an ape with a long lever, the standard catch is not metal. Its probably more important to realize that anyone watching you put something valuable into the top box will have an incentive to force it open. Under seat storage can also be opened by someone with knowledge about the cable operation and location but not by brute force.
Aluminium top boxes are available and you can put whatever padlock you choose on those.
