Just back from my KF&R day at Brands...
First bit was a chat by Kevin Williams (http://www.survivalskills.co.uk/) about general riding, reading the road, positioning etc...
Noise test - I asked how this would happen with a twist n go... wasn't keen on putting it on the stand and revving it to 5k with no load on the wheel / engine... bloke shrugged his shoulders and put a pass sticker on it! (2 years old, OE 'zorst, and issue would of been picked up by the drive-by noise monitors)
Then a Track brief, flags, riding behaviour etc...
Out on track for a few laps,
Short observed ride from IAM types, with some pointers on your riding...
Slow speed ridding - CBT Style - Emergency Stops, Slow speed slalom (mainly clutch control for the gear bike lot)
The some basic safety stuff in case of a crash, scene management and first aid, safe helmet removal if and when needed and CPR...
Then back out on the track for a few more laps...

Only scoot there, smallest capacity bikes were a Honda CBR600 (4 Cyl). couple of Suzi SV650s (2 cyl) Ducati Monster (650-800) Twin, and a KTM 640 Duke (Single) everything else was around the 1000cc+ from big twins to tourers and sports...

Speed differential on the track was quite big, so only did the two sighting laps and pulled on the second session...

A good day, Richie popped up and said Hi, sorry didn't have much time to chat between the goings-ons, required track briefing, and chat with the IAM bloke following a short observed ride...
