I'm not sure about this classic Vespa-ing lark, won't I need a mate in a big van to follow me everywhere? ;)

If I had one would van it down ride around on it van it back .I wouldn't buy and restore one personally it's bordering on self abuse.Havent touched GT for 3 weeks just opened garage door started first press that's kind of Vespa I want .Out tonight doing a scooter funeral in morning local guy no play in hub so leave that till Saturday won't be going far .

Hmmm... how much faith is it possible to have in a 56 year old Italian 2-stroke scooter? :D

This is why need to take it to British Vespa days ride with 1000 Vespas feel the love .Never going to get that with The Fusion or CN 250 (as we all know Helix wasn't imported to uk ;) ;) ) or the Voskov

70th anniversary year next year

But I'm already an Ace Face on the Fusion scene innit, even if I haven't done any homebrew REESURCH AND DEVLELPMNT and drilled holes in the tyres to make the scooter quieter. And anyway, quite a lot of the people in that photo are riding lovely, reliable 4-stroke autos ;)

I passed a group of trads in Wakey this very evening and none of them so much as acknowledged my existence. I imagine they must have been overawed by the presence of the superior Piaggio product I was riding ;)

Anything not Vespa shaped is motorbike even if it's made by Piaggio any scooter that looks like a Vespa but not made by Vespa is just plain Ugly

Would they have waved if I was on a Neco Abruzzi then?

[Obviously I wouldn't have been wearing a pisspot like hers. Don't think my boots have quite as much heel either...]
