We could always camp at the Roundhills motorcycle camp site in the New forest, I love it there. Its nice an isolated from the main site and is deeper in the forest.

Re: National Meet Thank you
Would a maxi meet interest over a week end attract many. How many would camp. How many stay in a hotel. I raise this now because there is a pub (the peacock) that could probably cope with fifty mini dome tents. There is at least five hotels in Chesterfield and some bed and breakfasts type places. For ride outs there is the choice of the peaks. The Yorkshire dal es. There is also Cannock Chase. Chesterfield is reasonably well served roads. Six miles from the M1' it is also reasonably central for all parts of the UK.
Just flying a kite to see what if any interest there was.

Hi Ian
I think that's an excellent suggestion. That part of the country lends itself to this sort of thing. Loads to do, plenty of places to stay and great riding.
Maybe we could get together with any one interested in helping organise a great weekend?

I had seen all I wanted at Duxford and I agree with you Meldrew even with our oap rate entrance fee was a little high. Anyway when you have flown to New York sipping Krug on Concord seeing an empty prototype is not the same.
