Thanks for the welcome all, yes Funkycowie I have suggested the sidecar route but no interest I'm afraid.

Only bought the trike so that we could still get out and about without the car however she has decided that its too difficult now. A mate has suggested that we keep the 3 wheeler as she might change her mind again and find a 'cheap' scoot for me to use. I don't work full time as I'm her primary carer so just want something that i can get around on and go for the odd blast when time permits...
