It may be obvious to everyone but the Ryde top box has a very similar lock to a Givi Monolock top box.
The lock that secures the top box to the universal mounting plate feels solid and once locked everything seems nice and rigid.
I should have mentioned a design issue to when closing the lid down means you have to make sure the inner catch lines up properly which seems a little fiddly at first but after a few times I have developed the nack.
