I thought it was supposed to replace the integra/CTX thing? Not the DN01.

Regardless of its practicality, you gotta hand it to Honda. They are the ones that came up with dn-1 design which looked like nothing else, and now this. I applaud them for going out of the mould.

I would probably never buy one as long as I live in the UK though.. Not enough weather protection. If we had a better climate, i definitely would have tried one.

As a second bike for fun and sunny days though, i'd love to.

It's a matter of taste, not everyone has to like it. A bit of a marmite bike.

All i can say is honda is a company which produce bikes that are nicknamed dullsville as well as stuff like these which look like they came straight out of a batman movie. I've not known a company with so much versatility in style.

I probably prefer the dn01 but you would buy these bikes with heart not head. The dn01 is not a practical daily user given its size and lack of weather protection. Would definitely turn some heads on a sunny sunday though

Saw a Dino yesters (or twas it monday?), going over Westminster Bridge - quite a rare site and quite unique...
Also see a Morpheos type thing wiv the big nose - in matt black along the Old Kent Road (me old mucker!) quite often

Surprisingly, MCN seem to like it! They even claim it handles well, though where the ample storage they say its got can be located is a bit of a mystery...

Dig through the hype and apart from the groovy styling it's really nowhere near as advanced as the out there approach said it should be - after all if you are going to make something that is designed - designed - to appeal to a minority, why not put it in the farthest corner of the market envelope? Doing so then lends the customer an even greater - groovier- sense of 'special'. Normal forks when HCS would allow a lower. form-hugging front end? Panniers capable of holding nothing more than a soggy hankie? Non-adjustable screen at this price point? No tank storage a la NC700X? etc. etc.

At the moment, the limited features and unlimited cost mean it appeals only to those with special needs:

Make into a TTW with a supercharger (within a couple of weeks, all motorcycles will need a supercharger, just like they needed a turbo back in the Eighties) and put a fighter canopy over it for streamlining and weather protection...

Or just wait a couple of years until Honda needs a warehouse clearout and you can pick up one for the same price as a Dunno One, and one could be laughing. Until then it's a five grand mo'sickle at a ten grand price tag and you have to be some kind of cretin to buy one.

I would not pay 10k for any bike but agree price hard to justify. Secondhand dn01s look tempting until you realise you can get the 700nx for same money new

Whats all this rubbish about that or this not being an everyday form of transport , makes me laugh crist years ago my old man used his francis barnet and in the 60`s his li150 lambretta for everything as have i with all the bikes i have ever owned . Back on track "shocked " mcn liked it .Theres nothing really new in the bike except styling which is all down to individual tastes , but 10k is just a rip off imho . I do like it for some strange unknown reason ,but do not see it attracting people who have never had an interest in motorcycles to actually do the test and get one ,my grandson just said "batman" sold to the 6 year old lol . To make an impression i feel it needed to be very futuristic with a tablet style dash and all the extra power sockets for phones etc like you have in a lot of new cars and obviously a built in entertainment system which you can easily upload to .The storage space should have beed expandable at the very least and the screen should defo have been much better and electronic . Heated grips and seat as standard . Should have been switchable power so new riders could use it and then had it reprogrammed at the time they were allowed . Oh its black at the price it should be available in any colour you like to match your smart phone etc ,personally i think it would look good in camo or army green even chrome effect . To attract a new bread of rider this machine should have a complete package with gear and training included . Shaft drive would have beed nice also . I must agree with others mr honda must be commended for having a go at bringing us something different in appearance at least . I still like the dn-01 .
