I'm getting an average of 76mpg with max and min of 85 and 72 on the J300.
The Kymco is slightly different from the J300 but if you can do without the green and matt black isn't then the kymco is a little but cheaper

Well GN2 and StephenC the MPG from your Foraza and J300 are both very appealing !
I haven't ruled out the Forza at all as I said in my post about my test ride I liked it and on monday after my J300 test ride I will be better able to decide.

Somewhere in between personally - loved the noise, hated the low speed vibes, nice general feel from the suspension, but somehow didn't feel confident enough to explore the handling, and did like the more fluid feel of the TMaxSOOTYGULL wrote:Mr Gumpy, my pal is also a TMAX rider (he got me in to buying mine) and we went off last year to test ride the then new BMW C600 sport.
I liked the agricultural lumpy feeling of the KYMCO engined BMW, the sound, it's braking, its cornering ability and general feel - he couldn't stand it, saying the TMAX is much smoother.

Re: My Kymco Downtown 300i test ride
Because the Downtown demo was so grubby it put me off BUT then I got to thinking maybe I should go and sit on a brand new one and see if it had more appeal, after all the demo engine seemed fine and I have ridden a Kawasaki J300 and it's engine is also in the Downtown; also I have read a few reviews where owners are very enthusiastic about their Downtowns.
So I am off to see if I can find one in a dealer showroom and get a sensible trade-in value for my TMAX - unlike the Kawasaki dealers offer !
