Re: Need new clutch for my 2009 Majesty 400
Why should it be only on this particular corner? Sounds to me more like the belt or sliders haven't warmed up or there is something peculiar about the corner itself. Perhaps if it is the clutch Michaelphillips' solution is worth a try.

Re: Need new clutch for my 2009 Majesty 400
I should explain the situatuon a little more. This corner I spoke about that my scoot judders about on, is the first corner I take in the mornings, which is about 200 meters from my house (so transmission would still be cold) Then I continue on this straight road for 20km (12 miles). So, the 2nd corner I take, is 20km away, so I suppose by that time, the transmission case is warmed up, and all moving parts are happy. I will try the "lock rear brake - and rev engine" meathod first. See if I can clean up the clutch a little.

So, this morning. I warmed up the scoot, held the rear brake on, revved the engine to 4000rpm, and held it for 5 seconds. I repeated this a second time immediately.
Seemed to work. No Juddering on accelerating from a standstill. Doing that must have cleaned up the clutch a little.
Thanks for your suggestions. I will see how this goes for the long term.

Felt nice riding home after work tonight also. I had to stop-start about 15 times on the way home, and each acceleration till the clutch fully engaged was very smooth. I suppose the dry clutches just need a "clean" every now and then.

Just being bit more aggressive with throttle on take off now and again helps .Check and clean belt case filter so its got a good air flow as well
