Re: new sym!
We've got to hand it to SYM though, the prices of the new Burgman 650 do seem to have dropped.spaceprobe wrote:Its 9k on the road, which is a lotcharles1976 wrote:I would love a new shape burgman 650.but 7k for a pre rev is a lot of £

Are the additional gadgets worth the extra £1001 though?

Re: new sym!
Thats great news , SYM must have them worried. When I was at my dealer getting my first service last week the sales manager said he had sold three 650 this month but did not feel they were worth £3k more than the SYM.

Re: new sym!
Are you suggesting then Muppets that the prices on the manufacturer's websites are not the prices in the dealers? Or are you saying that prices are dropping for selected bikes e.g. the Burg 650? Or that we should go in and not be prepared to pay the list price?

Suzuki website says £8799 rrp
https://www.suzuki-gb.co.uk/motorcycles ... e-650-abs/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But if you look around the web...
Http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... 8218407831" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
There's a few other dealers also have it at that price.
The fact that it is being advertised at £1800 below rrp indicates that the rrp is simply too high.
£7000 for a Burgman 650 is a great deal imo and makes a Sym 600 for £6000 (+otr) look like very poor value indeed.
