As of last Saturday Robspeed in Lincolnshire has a new SE ABS available. We could not come to a part exchange agreement so I declined their offer.

I've had quite a few WOT getaways on the J300 and it takes even hot hatches by surprise. The take-up is nearly instant and I loved the slight change at 2000rpm(ish). The fella on Visordown holds it on the back brake with the auto clutch fully engaged - I don't recommend this as it doesn't show particularly sensitive mechanical sympathy, but it at least shows the J 300 is built well.

I can report that someone I know of allegedly hit an indicated 90mph earlier today and informs me that it got to that speed quickly and held it easily with something in reserve.

I am sure this was purely fiction though.

Must be the report I heard and it was so well described, it was almost like I'd been there myself. 8-)

Edit: An indicated 98mph...

It may be entirely non fictional (after all, they have enough grunt to get to 90 on the speedo), but I'm sure it took place on a private test track.
