I got it wrong it,s the a299 the main group is going to leaving the m2 faversham layby at 11 then head down the a299 regroup at the nayland rock hotel, then riding as a group to Margate, it would be pretty good to ride with the group peter and the parking won,t be anything like Hastings there will be places to park.

Any other maxi Muppets who would like this please come along the scooter community are a very friendly bunch as i found out at the lee Rigby ride. The music there will be ska music last year the music was very good.

I have my doubts about the fun of riding in a massive group but willing to give it a go, just so I got this straight... the main group you are talking about are the group that goes from the ace? because I have my doubts if they are leaving the ace at 10:30, that they would arrive at the m2 faversham layby at 11... because thats a 2 hour ride according to google maps...

Or are you talking about a different meet for the same event?

Same here i don,t feel safe in the rain on my scoot, thanet scooterists are meeting at a motel not that far from me at 9.45 then heading to sturdy, whitstable, Faversham then meeting up with the others at 11am on the m2 a299 join.

I am fine riding in the rain to work, but riding for a couple of hours and being wet through (if any water gets in) for the rest of the day is not much fun.

We'll see what the weather is like, I'll post here late Sunday to say whether I'll be in Faversham at 11:00 or not on Monday
