Two wheels is plenty for me.

I tried a 125 mp3 and what a bag of shit that was.

Also a mp3 300 yourban wotsit. Was fun but too wide, not enough power and didn't feel any more stable than two wheels. Was nicely made though.

I've been saying for years that if you're thinking of buying a vehicle never look at the owners clubs as all you'll see are the problems. People never start topics about how well their vehicle is running. :D

Here here ;) 8-) when they have sold over 150,000 MP3's since they started manufacturing them, a small few did have teething problems, the head bearing being one, that as far as I know has been sorted.
The 250 and fuoco that I owned never had any problems. And I would have no problem in buying this latest 500 version :D

I have a 400 mp3 and has been painless to own. The 125 model I had did not like the cold weather but was generally reliable as well. The mp3 is not comfortable for anyone who is tall and they do have some design features where you think piaggio could have tried harder. For an all year round urban scooter they are a very smart purchase.

I suppose the reason I never took a test ride on a 3 wheeler was that I saw a photo of Jonathan Ross on one! Put me off for life! :-)
Ken.

Experience is something I only ever get a second after I really need it!

First ride review posted on Visordown by the guy who is running the J300 long-term.

One factual error, but I won't say what so you can have it as a small diversion exercise on a Friday afternoon.

"Seat length has gone from 630mm to 790mm, a 25% increase to give both rider and passenger more space"

That's good news as my MP3 had less room for my size 11 feet than an LML/Vespa PX.

I've had two vehicles built by Landrover.
The forums could not have prepared me for how truly awful they are.
The best bit of both cars is the BMW engine in the Freelander, the rest of it is shite.
As for the Disco, never ever again.
That said, currently on the lookout for a LWB Defender......
