Not sure about that. The 400's had good reviews and I don't think many will change just because a bigger engine has come on the market.
Anyway, there won't be that many 400's available here, as there's only about 40 on the road.

SYM UK reports that all of the first shipment of 600's have been sold and that most of those are upgrades. My old one is a good buy and is sitting at Groombridge motorcycles

Thanks for all for the replies.
Mmmmm.......still unsure.

The petrol bit is no problem as he will only be using the maxi when he's across on holiday

He's driven a 650 burgman and loved it.
He's a biker man so this would be his first big scooter and he want something with a bit grunt.
He will probably be 2 up most of the time.

I drive a piaggio x9 200 with the missus on the back and it's great but he wants something bigger.
Ok I will pass on all your advice a wait and see what he picks if any.

Ps now iv got the bigger maxi bug!! Damm

Ah well...in that case, he might like the grunt of the 'wing...though it is rather more scooter-ish than the Big Burger.

In that case scratch my earlier suggestion, the Majesty won't be enough for him 2-up. Looks like Silverwing or B650 only, is the new Sym 600 in Spain yet (though as new it'll likely be outside the budget)

Did you consider the Piaggio X10 350?
Bigger, faster, newer etc.

X10 for me? Love one but I can't afford one.
After taking my mate to see bikes over the last few days I'm kinda liking the silver wings.
