Geoff.
I know...its terribly easy with a bit of skill and the right tools. I did hack away at a Tmax screen once....it ended up as OK but not very professional!

I would buy one if I thought they worked although they look a bit odd. Is there any way to try before you buy them?

I was so pleased with the Givi screen on my old 650 I ordered a replacement for the new one. It came before the bike. I fitted it the day after I got the Scoot. If anything the improvement is even greater on the new 650. Better hand protection. I had thought that it was just a slight touch too tall - Im 5 11" but now I think its perfect. I can see over it OK and if I raise it in rain it provides great protection. I went out last night with the Son on his 125 also fitted with a GIvi and despite a fair amount of rain we just were not wet, and I would say the bit there was got through when we were stopped at lights or whatever.

I would probably agree, @ 5'11" the Givi is absolutely great. At 5'6" it's useless.
