Really? Thats incredibly well disguised!! I really liked the mk3's mirrors - elegantly styled, small but with very good view. The mk4's aren't too bad, but stick out way too much.

If you look at the plastic castings on the mirror heads, they have the SAME part number on both bikes...

The subcontractor just changed the arms and bases!

But mine isn't!!! The template is a little bit bigger in all directions than my mirror glass, especially width wise. However, it is a generally similar shape, so there must be a possibility that when I printed the .PDF out I managed to scale the drawing up somehow. The printing system at work is rather too clever for its own good sometimes..

What are the dimensions you've written on the printed template?? 9.33"?? Can you tell me the actual measurements of the mirror/template?

When I printed it out, the dimensions were 6.5" by 4.25" (16.8cm by 10.4cm) - which as I said were slightly too large for my mirror, and I can't try it on my home PC printer as its gone wrong!

On my Epson printer I put in 'User defined' under my paper size for the PDF, as 7.33' X 9.33". then it prints to it the mirror glass perfectly. it took about 15 tries playing with it to get it right....

The mirror glass itself measures-out at about 5-3/8" wide by 3-1/4" high...

Well, this is the snag, if you keep fiddling with it, you can make the image come out any size you want! I really wish they had dimensions on the website.

Thanks for those measurements - I see if they correspond to my mirrors when I get home. They do sound about right. I'm quite keen on getting one, as long as I'm assured I'm not going to fork out €40 for something the wrong size!

Tried it again..and it now comes out the 'right' size for the mk4. Lets hope the actual thing is the same size!

I bought one! It does seem to be the right shape for the mk4 Tmax as well as mk3.

Any German Speakers on here?

The instructions and other stuff is all in German. Most the instructions are easy enough to work out via Google Translate, but someone has written (and highlighted) "Achtung umbuchen!" on the invoice. Google translate seems translate umbuchen as 'rebook' which isn't very helpful. Do they want me to pay? But I've already paid by Paypal (which says my payment was completed). Any ideas?

I got another translation as 'alteration' so 'Attention - alteration' perhaps. They did send it to my home address rather than the work address I requested, so maybe that was it....though there's no point in alerting me to that after I've received it!
