For those that don't know me I'm a bike 'tech so servicing isn't something I need to take into account.

I was really interested in the quality side of Kymco/Sym as these are scooters that I never get my hands on as we only service/repair Jap stuff.

I can't fault the quality of my Maxsym 400

I should also add that I'm 6ft and not exactly a racing snake,quite the opposite so your thoughts on comfort/leg room would also help.

Yes, I'm waiting on getting hands-on on my J300SE-ABS this weekend. The workshop have had a lot of poorly people, so it has taken longer than it really should to prep.

As far as I know, all ABS versions allocated to the UK have been accounted for, but there are plenty of standard ones around. The silver and black ones are priced about £50 more than the Kymco, I think. Take a test-ride of each, but I think the Kymasaki is a bit better overall. The J300SE looks - in my humble opinion - really special in the matt black and green paint job and well worth the little extra.

The Forza is fine, but didn't rock my personal boat.

And yes, GET ABS!

I am 6'2" and the reason I went for the 400 and have now ordered a 600 was its leg room, comfort and bike like handling. It sits taller and is narrower than the 400 Burg

Stephen,can we expect a review from you? Once you have put some miles on it of course!

Stephen, my j300se abs arrives at the dealer on monday so will be ready friday or sat ive been told by ian, just sorting out insurance swinton are quoting £120 more than carol nash and my policy with swinton runs out on 14th may so looks like a change of insurance for me

Michael try Liverpool Victoria (Which recommended) I am only paying £129 (with protected no claims) for my SYM. I have my car and household insurance with them and have always found them to be excellent
