Nice one, my Majesty is white and it doesn't look too mucky. I my experience dark colours always show dirt whereas lighter colours tend to mask it. The easiest colour to keep clean is silver imho.

Black vehicles are the hardest to keep looking clean IMO.

Tricky...black ones sometimes don't look superficially dirty, but then you look closer and you realise its filthy, whilst white ones will be screaming 'dirty' at you!Fizzy Rascal wrote: Black vehicles are the hardest to keep looking clean IMO.

I had a white 2010 400 and it was without doubt the safest bike/scooter that I have ever had. In the six months that I ran it no one ever pulled out on me and strangely other drivers behaviour was exemplary. I wonder why. Mind the white helmet and fluorescent jacket may also have contributed.

I know...I have a white helmet and all over hi-viz jacket. Snag is, people insist on driving exactly at the speed limit...........macamxthe1st wrote:I had a white 2010 400 and it was without doubt the safest bike/scooter that I have ever had. I reckon that even if a car driver thinks you are a rozzer for a split second, that is a good thing. Even if only some of his brain registers 'fuzz' then white is good for me.

The funniest incident was when I crept up on a lorry in his blind spot on the M180 as I drifted out into full view of his mirror I saw the look of horror on his face as he dropped his mobile phone. Priceless.

Re: Back on a Scoot soon!
Been to the dealer today to finalise everything.
Colour will be glass sparkle black
Didnt have any choice in the matter because Suzuki UK have no stock of the standard 400 without ABS, and they only have black in the ABS model.......
Not bothered, the black does look nice!
Also ordered some goodies for the scoot.
A Givi AF266 airflow screen and a Monokey Rack for the box I have.
Going to order a Fender Extender for it and I will be done spending money.....
How many sleeps until March 1st........
