Ive only had a mk1 which was ace, you seem to change a lot like me so if youve never had one before, give a tmax a go, im sure you wont be disappointed.

Very true , just sorted myself a 2009 Mk 2 in blue immaculate less than 5000 miles Top box sport screen and Brand new tyres , not a mark on it , even the downpipes look new . Very HappyMrGrumpy wrote:Put it this way...very few people have bought a Tmax and then said 'I don't like it' !
Well done!! ..a 2009 mk2? Presumably one of the old stock of mk2s sold off at reduced prices after the mk3 came out?tmaxrobbo wrote:Very true , just sorted myself a 2009 Mk 2 in blue immaculate less than 5000 miles Top box sport screen and Brand new tyres , not a mark on it , even the downpipes look new . Last of the Mk 2 series , I believe , My budget did not run to a mint MK 3 so I am Happy with it .The 4's are nice but still not bagged a test ride . Good to have anotherT Max whichever Mk it is !MrGrumpy wrote:Well done!! ..a 2009 mk2? I'm not sure whether I'd prefer a mk2 or mk3.... there are pluses & minuses for either, though the mk4 is probably better than both, even if it has got the daft belt final drive.
Hmmm...its difficult to define, but I know exactly what you mean!tmaxrobbo wrote:My ulta low mileage T max M2 in Sunshine Blue arrived last night !!! Almost retro compared to my last 2 Mk 3's but Ooozes quality build
Although we are talking quite marginal things here, I preferred the mk3's handling (even though the ride was a bit bouncier) to the mk2's as I thought the forks on the mk3 were a bit better. The mk4 handles wonderfully, but it isn't quite as fun as the mk3 as it doesn't quite give you the same feedback - it just does what its told. In a sense, it handles TOO well.Liam wrote:Congrats! I really like the mk2. It hasn't got the sports bike look of the mk3 and mk4 but when you want it to, it goes like the clappers!
