Yes it's in Stone Town, it's on a jetty sticking out into the ocean. It's the same people as Blues in Cape Town, enjoy.

Ok, an update following my visit to Zanzibar:

Firstly, Blues has apparently closed.

While Dar es Salaam is full of motorbikes, Zanzibar is full of scoots. Mainly Vespa PXs which is why they call any larger scooter "Vespa", while any smaller scooters are known as "passolas", which I assume is a homage to the 80s Yamaha 50 of that name, though I didn't see any actual Passolas.

Newest I saw was a PCX. But mainly it was hundreds of Vespa PXs. Oh, and one Honda Pantheon in nowhere near as good condition as mine. Quite a lot of Yamaha Townmates (just Mate over there) and a few C50s.

They even had a scoot as decor at the cafe I stopped at and, just maybe, Horobags hasn't had a Honda Julio. Here it is:

Wasn't the Honda Julio hydraulic driven you twisted one grip for power and the other to vary the transmition ratio. ?

No it was the Juno the late one with the strange transmition just checked.

another little odd ball Honda jump through from the late 60s, the PC50 which had the engine as part of the back wheel sometimes called the Winged wheel.Image
