Yeah...we thought we would have it all in a big marquee just in case it rained and keep all the tent flaps closed in case it's cold!! Inside, bbq on the left with the chemicals stored close by so we know where they are!! :o :o ....and scooters on the right with all the tools...ahem!! I wouldn't worry about getting the bbq going either. There'll be plenty of petrol to hand... :o Everyone will be welcome. And like you Bluebottle, I see no problems with any of that! :o

PS. you know I'm joking about this storing the chemicals by the bbq inside the tent and with flaps closed right! None of that's actually really that sensible...so lets do it!

Deffinately put me down for this one if it happens. Just let me know what to bring. Filters, oils, spark plug, rubber gloves and lube (Am I on the right Forum).

I can also bring burger and sausages for the bar-b-que.

I so hope this happens

Good post for 400 Burgman owners. Instead of making a cvt tool, I bought a cheap 12v Impact wrench. With this re-torqueing the nuts up can be the only issue but marking their positions with tippex before un doing worked okay. My B400 is now sold.

Yes we could be on for another session before winter. Not absolutely sure yet as I don't know how my work will pan out. NorfolkChris is interested too. But I would like it to happen and get some of you lot round with your bikes. I don't know much about the evo engines in the X9 Mottza. I'm actually still fairly new to scooters. I know about the 400 Burgmans and I've seen and done a bit of spannering on the Six fiddy version but that's about it in recent years apart from working on lots of bikes. But it can't be that difficult to spanner I would guess. I would imagine some special tools may be needed for some things. Do you spanner yourself at all? Got to say Halfabusa is a natural once he gets a spanner in his hand and easily managed his work at the weekend.

Mine's not a Evo. Its a SL (with the Honda Foresight Engine).

I have done some spannering on min such as changing the oil, replacing the exhaust, air filter etc.

Mine needs a good checking over and its way overdue for its clutch and spark plug to be changed. It also needs re-jetting as the LeoVince exhaust is causing backfire/popping.

Hi Mottza, I hadn't realised yours was Honda engined. I was speaking to Silverbonce on your p&m run and he is selling his '57' plate Evo 250 X9 I understand. It looks a picture, pretty much like yours does. I can probably help with the work on your bike. I don't have any specs for it, such as torque settings and procedures but we can find all that out easily enough I'm sure. It just depends how urgent it is. I can look into the re-jetting too. Give me a day or two and I'll see what I can come up with. ;)

Cheers. None of it needs doing yesterday as it never goes far unless on a rideout.
