You say health and safety like its a bad thing?
This may be controversial, but imo health and safety = A Very Good Thing

Remember the Spanish high speed train crash recently?
Wouldn't have happened in the UK due to health and safety.

NOBODY having a dig at you mate, sometimes a good idea to share is a great thing, glad it worked :D my set up would not allow me to do it , too many things attached... so would have to buy new :D

Thanks for the post Michael. If some one had asked me to describe what I did in detail, they would have realised that damaging the disc would be very, very unlikely.

very true mate, it`s just a lot of folk have there own way of doing things, i am in negotiation with Newfren regarding my rear disk i relaced not long ago and the disk is not warped, its bent slightly, so the pads are not touching the disk at one point, sent pics and sent torque data regarding fixing clamps, but i think im flogging a dead horse... with them, i might get a new one out of them yet :D
