My Sh is screen less. Is the Honda one any good or must you avoid it at all costs and for some other make?

The Honda one is quite good, but tall (I had to have a few cm cut off it). Someone on here had a Givi Airflow screen which he was very impressed with. Since these things sell by the 10,000 in Italy, there have to be billions of options from all the different screen makers.

Honda also do some hand guard/ wind deflectors which are nice, though some screens (notably Givi) provide wind protection as well.

I had the honda screen fitted to my last SH, although it had been cut down. It was pretty good. I have the givi airflow fitted to my present SH and would say that it is better. I'm not sure that I would pay a lot more for the givi over the honda. If they were the same price I would go givi.
Isn't it nice when things just work?

Just seen malossi do one which is black. I likeb the idea of that as I dislike red glare you get on screens from brake lights in the rain. Anyone got on of these http://www.hondascooterspares.co.uk/spa ... H300&uid=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have had both the different size fixed Givi screens on mine. Both damaged in accidents but I now have the Givi Airflow and can highly recommend it. Also, when it comes to changing the belt and rollers, get genuine Honda ones. They are better and about £20 cheaper than the pattern parts you see on eBay! One other bit of advice. Get yourself a non chipped spare key for about a fiver at any good locksmiths and use that exclusivey for opening and closing the top box. It is a terrible design which uses the key as a lever to pull on when opening it. The key will definately eventually break and will cost about £75 to replace. I have broken one at £75 and another one at a fiver!
Paddle harder. I can hear banjo music!

Yeah...but due to the odd riding position, you need something quite tall to have any wind protecting effect, so that Malossi one will purely be decorative!
I seem to remember my SH originally came with a little screen - utterly useless!

Anyway...Malossi doing screens? What next, Givi doing tuning parts???

Good advice thanks. I've noticed the top box is a bit of a pain.
