Im still nodding at fellow bikers, I reckon 30% are returning the gesture.

As a youngster I was often reminded (by the less 'informed') that no-one likes a smart arse.

Let's be honest, an AUTO scooter rider in congestion IS a 'smart arse'!

Remember the City/Town/Congestion scenario?

Manual motorbike; Junction/traffic lights/congestion; Clutch in, change down, one legged stop, check gear, ease out, first, second, maybe third, clutch in, change down, one legged stop, check gear, clutch out and repeat...

Auto Scooter; Brake, twist and go!

What with the ankle ache, knee ache, back ache, neck ache, wrist ache, arse ache and wallet ache, it's hardly likely that the 'I'm a real biker' is going to be in the 'waving' frame of mind.

Lol...perhaps that's it, it's jealousy !

On another note the scoot got quite hot tonight whilst filtering, not into the red, but I was worried it might. Will keep an eye on it, just in case. Dealer checked all levels etc prior to me picking it up so all shouldn't be a problem with coolant.

Probably just the weather & at least the thermostat is working properly.

Check the cooling fan is working if you're worried.

Bar shake with hands off the bars can happen on a brand new bike and is not necessarily a fault.
The simple cure is don't take your hands off...
If you can feel it shaking with your hands gripping the bars normally, that's a problem.

GN2, there is no shake with hands on...all must be well ..... Hopefully
