Thanks guys! Mod 2 was good and I got a very positive feedback.
I bought the deep blue X10. I am just sorting the insurance today and waiting for the phone call from the shop. Possible it is going to be done before weekend....

Well done Solo. From what I've seen, it's all rather difficult compared to what I had to do.
The memsahib's going through the process now. Got her Mod 1 again on Friday, (having failed once on the emergency stop)...

Thanks Spike!
Mod 1 is quite interesting. If you confident enough, you can pass it first time. Little hesitation can kill the whole test. I was a bit worried with the swerve, but I managed to do it with 67km/h...lol The examiner gave me a kudos
Mod 2 is more complex. Your nerves are on fire in the first few minutes, but when you calm down and you think the examiner is a satnav, it is much easier. If someone wants a few tips, just flick me a private message.
I think it is not a big deal if you fail once on any Mod, but I seen a guy in the driving school, who failed 4 times already on Mod 2 and his driving was terrible.... Should have some law, if you fail X times, you have to wait at least 12-18 months to retake the test.

The memsahib failed because she applied both brakes at the same time!
Instant fail...

Pff... bad luck, hopefully next time is coming out right. One of the guy failed, because he blocked the rear wheel...

I have to say, if you get a grumpy examiner, you can fail on anything. Usually fail on emergency stop is the rear wheel blocking and shifting down before stop. But instructor was telling about right braking balance... I have no clue, I did how I felt and it turned out right.
