4000 high, I do just over 7000 a year just on commuting to work.
I know its mad....but this is Bikeworld we are talking about...and most bikers commute by car!

That's was my mana I sold a few years ago to him, think I sold it for about £1800 then !!!!

Lovely to ride, but was in and out of the shop, cost me a fortune hence selling it. Got burgman 650 exec which has been amazing.

Are Manas a bit problematic? Had one of these on the wish list for a while now but might reconsider if they are.

Well mine was, had it about 14 months I think and it was in and out of the shop, had my burgman 3 years now and it's been almost faultless for me. I might add the top box, screen and centre stand were all items I put on the mana when I sold it to him. Often think I'd like to go for the more traditional bike again and hence DCT for me as I can only ride autos, but the burgman just ticks all the boxes, except for the one that gets us most and that is, you just want to ride something different for a while, bet then when you change you wonder why on earth you gave it up.

Ok I had problems with my Mana when I got it, and was ripped off by an Aprilia dealer on the Wirral to the tune of over 500 quid, they tried to tell me I needed a complete loom, they never actually fixed the fault. But Lyn off here did by waterproofing my terminals (ooh err) because mine is ridden in all weathers, and like all bikes most if you look after them and do general care it won't fail you. The general opinion was that the dealer was using my Mana as a learning tool for the mechanic. that was over 12 months ago and I've had no problems since and it's covered 23,000 miles so far. So only listen to people who have owned or own one and not the people who rely on what they've heard or read somewhere.

And may I add I love mine.

Eventually the highest bid of £1827 fell short of the reserve.

My initial guess of £1500-2000 was surprisingly accurate then!!
Actually surprised anyone offered that much......

Obviously hasn't a clue, no concept of the difference between "cost new" and "worth second hand".
He should list all the accessories separately, they add nothing to the value of the bike.
Also doesn't seem to realise that money spent on maintenance is pretty much the same as money spent on petrol i.e. gone forever.
Could even be argued that costing three grand in less than 30,000 miles of maintenance is a huge negative and not something to be emphasised when "FSH" would suffice.
What a plonker.
